“Sin is to the soul as an infection is to the body. Anything that opposes Holy Love is a sin. When the body is sick, medicine is administered to combat the infection. Gradually the infection is overcome. So it is in the soul, but sin in the soul is vanquished through love and mercy. Just as the ill person must consent to taking medicine, the sinner must with his will turn to My Mercy and begin to love Me again.”
