St. John Vianney, Cure d'Ars and Patron of Priests

St. John Vianney comes. He is holding an electrical cord which is unplugged. He says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“You see how powerless this cord is when it is unplugged from an electrical outlet. That is how useless sacrifices are when they do not rise from a heart full of Holy Love. They are disconnected and virtually powerless.”

“Therefore, connect every good work, every charitable thought or prayer, to love of God and neighbor; then the power flows through them into God's Hands, and He uses them for His purpose.”
