“No one can claim to live in the Divine Will, but yet discount Holy Love. The only way into the Divine Will is through Holy Love. Holy Love is the Divine Will. You cannot climb a ladder or begin a journey without taking the first step. In the same way, you cannot reach the summit of personal holiness without surrendering to Holy Love.”

“Some pride themselves on their holiness which transgresses humility – the basic virtue coupled with Holy Love in every effort towards holiness. Do not love the fruits of the Holy Spirit as though you deserve them. Just be a ready instrument – always deflecting self-interest or self-aggrandizement. This is God's Will.”
