* On October 29, 2010, a terrorist plot involving two packages containing bombs was thwarted. The explosives, linked to Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, were discovered on cargo planes in the UK and Dubai, intended for targets in the United States, but no injuries or fatalities occurred.
