St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“I wish to describe to you the anatomy of abuse of authority, for it is rampant today on every level of leadership. The main criteria for fair and just leadership is Holy Love in the heart. Without this, the heart becomes proud and ambitious, looking to his own interests without regard for those he is given to lead. It is then, love of power, reputation and even money easily move in and take charge of the heart. All of this is the mother of the compromise of Truth.”

“Too often leaders make up their own truths in order to suit their agendas of unchallenged power. It behooves the righteous of heart to unite in the Truth and to hold all leadership accountable to the reality of their actions in opposition to the Truth. Do not be lulled into complacency by titles which, in and of themselves, may or may not serve the Truth.”

“Leaders are set in place to gently shepherd and guide. Control for the sake of self-interests is not of God. You must oppose such fallacies.”

“Be wise in the leadership you support. God has given you a heart, not to be tricked, but to reason according to Holy Love. Pray for wisdom.”
