St. Gertrude

St. Gertrude says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“I remind you, dear sister, to pray daily, as you have been, for the poor souls in Purgatory. There are millions imprisoned there who never believed in Purgatory, but who now suffer greatly. No one prays for them. Many are thought to be in Heaven.”

“In the Protestant world and in other religions as well, if a person led a relatively decent life, it is presumed he went to Heaven upon death. Most often, this is not the case.”

“It is a spiritual strength to pray and sacrifice for these poor souls who, in return, pray for you. None of your intentions escape them.”
