St. Thomas Aquinas

St. Thomas Aquinas says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“You must never place obedience above living in the Truth. This is what draws whole factions of people off course. An extreme example of this would be terrorism. They obey untruth and kill in the name of untruth.”

“You must realize that God commands only that which builds up the Body of Christ through a virtuous life. Every virtue is based upon Holy Love and built upon humility. These Truths should not be dictated against. Such opposition opposes God Himself. Such errors divide and weaken the Kingdom of God.”

“The Son of Man did not suffer and die so that you could live in doubts and confusion, but so that you would live in union with Holy Love. Do not believe one thing in your heart but live according to error.”

Read Mark 7:6-8 *

Synopsis: Love according to the Ten Commandments – which Holy Love embodies, and not according to the ways of humans (the ways of the world).

He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching human precepts as doctrines.' You abandon the Commandment of God and hold to human tradition.”
