Once again, I (Maureen) see a Great Flame that I have come to know as the Heart of God the Father. He says: “I have come to help you understand the ways that Satan attacks different souls. He sees all the strengths and weaknesses of each soul. Therefore, he knows what inroad to use to gain entry to the heart. He knows how to use the soul's vulnerability to place evil thoughts and desires in a heart that is on the path of righteousness. He uses carnal desires, love of the allurements of the world, any illness or tendency to an illness – be it physical or mental to gain his foothold. This is not to say illnesses and carnal weakness or even worldly desires are all evil. I use every cross to gain power in the world. Satan convolutes many of My efforts, turning a potentially worthy sacrifice into his port of entry. It is the degree with which each soul is aware of his own weaknesses that make him a worthy opponent against evil or a potential victim of Satan's ploys.”

“Every soul needs to be on guard as to evil activity near or around him. The evil one can turn the best efforts at holiness into a trap. Very often, the trap is self-righteousness or discouragement. It is free-will choices that determine the difference between good and evil. Never presume to be a worthy opponent of Satan. Prayer and sacrifice are the best weapons.”
